Creative Images
These Competitions are open to all creative techniques, which produce images that display
obvious
"altered reality." These types of images are most often montages (blending of multiple images) or are the results of using processing filters that modify the colors, shapes and forms of the objects that are included within them. High dynamic range (HDR) images are not considered "altered reality" without further processing.
Entries must originate as photographs (image-captures of objects via light sensitivity) made by the entrant on photographic emulsion and digitally scanned or acquired digitally. By virtue of submitting an entry, the entrant certifies the work as his/her own and permits the sponsors to reproduce all or part of the entered material free of charge for publication and/or display in media related to the competition. This may include low resolution posting on a web site. The competition assumes no liability of any misuse of copyright. Images may be altered, either electronically or otherwise, by the maker and artwork or computer graphics created by the entrant may be incorporated if the photographic content predominates. All final work in an electronic file.
Neither the maker's name or the image title shall not appear in the image area of the digital file.
An image previously accepted in a CPID Creative Individual International Competition or Individual Creaive Competition is not eligible for re-entry.

Entries
Entries for each competition may be either one or two digital images.
Image Size
For all images, the maximum allowable horizontal dimension (width) is 1024 pixels and the maximum vertical dimension (height/tall) is 768 pixels.
Smaller images are acceptable.

File Names
You do not have to use any convention for naming your "jpg" files when you submit your entries. The files will be re-named to meet the needs of our competition software.
Color Profile
Saving your "jpg" files using the sRGB color profile is recommended as it will provide better quality under the projection conditions used for judging.
Awards
For each competition: First, Second and Third Place awards will be presented, as well as Honorable Mentions and Acceptances; awards will also be given for a maker's two images receiving the highest combined score. Note: these acceptances may NOT be used when applying for Division Stars.
